Let's reflect...   Hello Blog! I have finally created my commercial and now it is time to reflect upon myself.     What technology did I end up using? Well, I ended up using mainly my phone. Using my phone, I was able to edit and tweak my commercial no matter where I was. I also used my computer which helped me transfer certain photos and videos from other devices. But, when using editing software, I switched from my computer to my phone, especially since the computer was more complicated.      I also used my camera, which I learned more about while I captured some photos I thought would fit in. But, I decided to not incorporate them, since I had learned to use my phone camera more precisely. This gave me the ability to have high quality photos and videos, such as the one of the concert and the ones of myself. Other than that, I had learned how to transfer music that I wanted.     We Did It!   Hello there blog, today we are finally going to get this advertisement done. The editing software I was using before was a computer based editing software called DaVinci Resolve. Now, I am going to try to use CapCut. CapCut allows me to edit easier and frequently. There is an app as well, giving me the ability to edit on my phone. Now, let us begin using CapCut.      First off, let us insert our song. While inserting our song I want to put a fade in transition for the song and advertisement introduction. After the introduction, I will have a sound bridge, then cut into the first video of me.  I am still wondering how I can approach introducing the first photo of me. I am going to look through the options they give for transitions regarding photos.      I will have the photo fade into place after the video ends. The abrupt stop of the video may allow time for the photo to comfortably fade in. Although, this does look a bit off, it does allow me to continue on with the p

The Beginning of the End Hello blog, today we are implementing all the ideas we have discussed. First order of business, time to finally decide the music for the commercial. I do not think I want to do a rock song anymore, nor a jazz song. The song that has peaked my interest the most is actually the song "Put Your Records On" by Corinne Bailey Rae. The song has a nice settling intro, and middle part, which give a nice atmosphere.      For the first clip of myself, I might do a introductional pan which would showcase the title. After this I would then either fade or have the pan move into something to cut into the first video of me. Then, after the first video, I will show a photo of myself. Since I do not need to incorpate that much content to make it a long commercial, I will then have a photo of one of my hobbies that describe me after. Lets reconsider...        The editing process and the layout of the commercial is still being decided. From the pervious post, and the thoughts at the end, I can not properly make a decision. The idea of advertising myself as a product is smart, but it contradicts some of the editing ideas I have. I have the ability to advertise myself as a form of media, which would allow me to do the sound bridge/commentary. But I some ideas because of that.     Since I might advertise myself as a piece of media, or in general, I might include another person. This person would talk about me like they are reviewing me as a product. If not, then they would talk about me and their experience with me. This person will most likely be my significant other, as they know me more than anyone else does. But, if they can not participate or do not want to, I will have one of my family, most likely one of my sisters, do the review.     I have also thought of making the music more documentary themed.   Ideas!      In order to make the commerical smooth and entertaining. I am thinking of starting off the commercial with some present commentary. The commentary would obviously advertise myself. Then the photo and videos would start playing in the background. The music would cue with a fade in at the beginning.      Depending on the quality when the videos or photos upload, I might tweak and edit them to make the quality better. For each video I might include either cuts or a fade in with the music allgined. What I mean by alligned is when the music makes any special difference in its sound, the video will switch with it. I might also include subtitles. The subtitles will only be there for when the audio in the videos can not be understood or just for the music.     I am going to just insert the images and videos and see what order they go in.   Let's Get Started!   For my commercial project, I have to pick out photos and videos of myself. These videos have to describe who or how I am as a person. The first photo I might include is a photo of me as a baby, then after a photo of myself in present time. The first video I am thinking of including is a video of me skating or being with my friends. This is because it would describe and show how I am with other people.      I still havent settled on what photos I truly want to use. I definitely want the photos to be oriented around how I have changed over the years. The videos, they may just be of me and my siblings. With my siblings I know I am myself and am not showing a part of me that is not actually there. For present day photos, I may show a photo of me and my significant other, as all the photos that have me, have her in them too.      For the song, I am thinking of choosing a song from the Foo Fighters. They have songs ranging from major rock to slow and relaxing music

     Introduction         My name is Anthony Figueroa, I am 16 years old, and live in Hallandale beach, Florida.
