Production Blog: Starting the Final Process
The Beginning of the End
Hello blog, today we are implementing all the ideas we have discussed. First order of business, time to finally decide the music for the commercial. I do not think I want to do a rock song anymore, nor a jazz song. The song that has peaked my interest the most is actually the song "Put Your Records On" by Corinne Bailey Rae. The song has a nice settling intro, and middle part, which give a nice atmosphere.
For the first clip of myself, I might do a introductional pan which would showcase the title. After this I would then either fade or have the pan move into something to cut into the first video of me. Then, after the first video, I will show a photo of myself. Since I do not need to incorpate that much content to make it a long commercial, I will then have a photo of one of my hobbies that describe me after. This should accomplish a smooth commerical experience.
After the photo of my hobby, I will show another photo of myself. This photo will then have a sound bridge of the next video. After about a second of the soundbridge, the cut will take place and show the next video. The video will incorpate another hobby of mine. From doing this, I can then fade into or cut into the next photo of one of my hobbies.
For the final part of my commercial, I am going to have the hobby photo fade into the final photo of myself. The song would also reach a good ending scene, allowing me to put credits at the end. After the credits, I will have the final photo of me fade into black. After this, I will either have a special thanks, or a thank you to the audience for watching. I may just also have it stay at black, having the song fade out aswell along the photo fade out.
