Storyboard blog: The Music Video Idea!

 Lets see the storyboard!



Scene 1: Music fades in after short ambience, girl walks down street, whide shot, boy is spying, moves from tree 1 to 2
Scene 2: Over sholder view of girl going to unknown stopping area
Scene 3: At exactly 10 seconds, girl stopes then begins to look around
Scene 4: From second 13-14, boy is looking at girl from hidden spot, POV shot
Scene 5: Cut back to girl, her head is turned, then turns back to continue walking, second 16-17, quick turn. walking may be assumed
Scene 6: Second 18, hiding spot then shown, but boy is not there, this scene ends when the song reaches second 21/22 and girl walks off camera
Scene 7: Second 21/22, POV shot of boy beginning to run to his room
Scene 8: Boy is still running, he then enters house, POV shot
Scene 9: POV shot, boy then enters room, places camera at the far corner of his room
Scene 10: Second 32, boy then set up camera in the corner of his room, then steps back to sing "hello" (first lyric)
Scene 11: "I've waited here for you..." Same scenery, computer showing photos though, at the end, transition.
Scene 12: Transition towards outside, lyric " tonight", " I throw myself into"

  Let's Get Started!   For my commercial project, I have to pick out photos and videos of myself. These videos have to describe who or how I am as a person. The first photo I might include is a photo of me as a baby, then after a photo of myself in present time. The first video I am thinking of including is a video of me skating or being with my friends. Research Blog: Finding the Right Music Video

 Lets Analyze Some Videos! Everlong Lots of overshoulder or close up shots, some mid-low angle shots, but also a lot of POV shown. Cutting used a lot, to display transfers between dreams and real life or dream to dream, they use a fade out then in. They do not include any ambient sound, only the music and some parts where the characters are singing the lyrics. The scenery changes from real life into dream state, in the real lifeit first shows two men approaching the house of another man and his partner, from here it goes in a back and forth between real life and dream state, within the dream state, the clothing and hair change, until near the end where the man goes into his regular clothing to rescue his partner. Also, near the end when the fight is over, the band gets out of the people as if they were costumes and continue to sing and perform the rest of the song.
